About

A Vancouver studio for generative AI products people actually use

Mind Nexus AI Inc. operates from Suite 1000 at 1090 West Pender Street in Coal Harbour—a generative and conversational-AI product studio serving Canadian startups, scale-ups and mid-market enterprises. We are engineers and product thinkers who care about adoption, not demo theatre.

What we are—and what we are not

We design assistants, copilots and knowledge systems with retrieval-augmented generation, prompt engineering and rigorous evaluation. “Mind” refers to machine reasoning and language models—not mental health, meditation, brain-training or life coaching. The .life domain is branding; we are an applied-AI studio, not a wellness product.

We are also not an AI course provider, not a get-rich-with-AI scheme, and not a SaaS platform you sign up for. Engagements are project-based or retainer-based professional services with clear scope, CAD pricing and PIPEDA-aware data handling.

Our team works in small senior groups—no fabricated “chief scientists” with invented credentials. You work with the people who write the prompts, wire the APIs and sit in your discovery workshops.

Responsible AI by default

Every build includes guardrails, logging and human handoff paths. We document where generative AI should refuse, when to escalate, and how your team maintains the knowledge base over time. Responsible-AI governance is part of delivery—not a slide deck added at the end.

We serve clients across British Columbia and Canada remotely, with on-site workshops available in Vancouver, Calgary, Toronto and other hubs when travel serves the engagement.

Our Coal Harbour studio on West Pender sits a short walk from the harbour path—close enough to downtown client offices for whiteboard sessions, quiet enough for the long evaluation reviews generative AI builds demand. That physical presence matters when you are deciding whether an assistant is ready for production traffic.

How we work with your organization

Discovery sessions clarify measurable outcomes—not vague “AI transformation.” Pilots prove retrieval quality and adoption on real workflows before production spend. Retainers support prompt libraries, evaluation updates and integration changes as your stack evolves. We report in plain language: what the model got wrong, what users skipped, and what to fix next quarter.

Whether you are a BC scale-up testing your first internal copilot or an enterprise group standardizing retrieval quality across regions, we meet you where your data and governance maturity actually are—not where a keynote says you should be.
